For years the email services of Atlantis Net have been powering the mailboxes of botevgrad.com and more than 20 other domains, many of them company ones. Over 1200 users currently rely on our mail services.
Our new platform is built with the latest software solutions and offers higher quality and stability. Much of our effort went into reducing spam and viruses and into offering some new extra features.

Access your mailbox wherever you are
One of the most important and most frequently requested features was letting our users send mail no matter where they are.
For security reasons, until now you could send mail only from within the Atlantis Net network. If you were on mobile internet or online somewhere else (with another provider), you had no access to your mail.
You can now send mail from any computer (or mobile phone), as long as you use the new email settings.
Security
All services of our email platform now support data encryption, so you can access your mail from anywhere without worrying about the security of your data.
Encryption is a new feature and is not enabled in your old settings.
We suggest enabling encryption for the incoming and outgoing server by switching to the new email settings.
Web access from anywhere
At mail.botevgrad.com anyone using the Atlantis Net email services can access their mail from a browser, without needing an email client.
New recommended access settings
The old settings still work, but they do not offer some of the extra features listed above (security, access from anywhere).
To benefit from the new features, you need to make small changes to the settings of your email program.
These changes are not mandatory for now, but access with the old settings will eventually be switched off.
The new recommended settings are:
Incoming server:
Address: mail.botevgrad.com
Type: we recommend IMAP (you can also use POP3 if you prefer)
Port: 143 (or 110 for POP3)
Encryption: STARTTLS
Username: your full email address (for example: username@botevgrad.com)
Password: your password
Outgoing server:
Address: mail.botevgrad.com
Port: 587
Encryption: STARTTLS
Username: your full email address (for example: username@botevgrad.com)
Password: your password
We encourage everyone using our email services to switch to the settings above. At some point the old settings (the ones you are using now) will stop working. To avoid future problems and take advantage of all the new features, it is best to make the change now.
